Irakli Sauer obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Bonn. He holds M.Sc. degrees in Economics from the Maastricht University and the Free University of Berlin. During his Master’s studies Irakli worked as research assistant at the German Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) at DIW Berlin. He also worked as an intern at the German Bundesbank Research Centre and spent an exchange semester abroad at the Copenhagen Business School. Irakli joined the Chair for Statistics and Empirical Economics in October 2019.
